Project Description

The Purcari and Cioburciu projects are sophisticated Hybrid Energy Hubs designed to address the "Energy Paradox" in Eastern Europe by decoupling power generation from immediate sales. By combining solar, wind, and large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at the same connection points, the project captures "low-value" midday energy to dispatch during evening peak stress periods when market prices can triple. This arbitrage-ready model transforms intermittent renewables into dispatchable "baseload" power, providing critical frequency regulation for the national grid while generating high-margin, asset-backed revenue in an underserved and import-dependent market.
